Awealth , this jealously guarded thanks to the activation of initiatives to reduce the potential harmful impact of the processes of industrialization agribusiness. These initiatives are: prohibition of the introduction of genetically modified crops and the conversion to organic farming of existing , environmental restoration of natural areas within the farm and , above all, the discovery and promotion of indigenous varieties typical of the local agricultural tradition.
To confirm further the efforts for the conservation of agricultural biodiversity was the start of the project “cultivate diversity”, which led to the birth of a NETWORK OF FARMERS GUARDIAN OF THE PARK devoted exclusively to the cultivation and marketing of local products.
