Cheesy garlic bread


  • 4 slices of bread
  • Butter just enough
  • Mixed spice (oregano, thyme and parsely)
  • 1 clove of Dimarino red garlic
  • Cheese (choose among: provolone, asiago, montasio, emmental or dried mozzarella)
  • Salt



Take off the butter from the refrigerator and let it soften for some minutes, meanwhile remove the red tunic from the garlic and squash it. In a bowl pour the soft butter and sqeeze it with a spoon, add the squashed garlic, a pinch of salt and the mixed spice.

Take the sliced bread and, helping with a knife, spread the mixture obtained on it, place the greased bread on a baking tray, grate on the bread the cheese selected to be used, cover with a sheet of alluminuim foil and cook in the oven for 15 minutes at 180°, take off the foil and keep the cooking for other 5 minutes. When cheese and bread will be golden take off from the oven and serve like starter dish.
